Want to learn how to make a beaded daisy with just seven seed beads? This tiny flower has six white petal beads and one yellow center bead, and it’s a fun way to use leftover copper wire from another project. It’s honestly one of my favorites.
I make this daisy in my Beaded Flower Bouquet Part 1 video. Tiny daisies are perfect for tucking between bigger flowers in a mini bouquet. Below you’ll find the exact bead counts and every step written out so you can craft along with me.

What You’ll Need 🧵
- Size 11 seed beads (about 2 mm) in your petal color, plus green for the stem. This small size is perfect for detail work like tulip petals. Check out the seed beads I use here
- Copper wire, about 0.3 mm thick. You’ll need about 12 inches. This thickness bends easily and still holds the flower’s shape. It comes in lots of colors, and I personally love gold. Check out the copper wire I use here
- Cutter pliers to trim your wire
- Loop pliers (round nose pliers) to make the little loop at the end of the stem. Beading tool kit (the pliers are a little different from the ones in my video)
- A felt bead mat (optional, but I highly recommend it). It keeps your beads from rolling everywhere, which saves you a lot of frustration.
How Many Beads Do You Need for a Beaded Daisy? 🌼
| Part | Beads | How many |
|---|---|---|
| Wire | About 6 inches (or leftover wire) | 1 piece |
| Petals | White seed beads | 6 (two groups of 3) |
| Center | Yellow seed bead | 1 |
| Stem | About 22 green seed beads | 1 stem |
| Total | About 29 beads |
The flower itself uses only seven beads. The other 22 or so make the stem. Set out your six white beads and one yellow bead before you start so the tiny pieces are easy to keep track of.
How to Make a Beaded Daisy 🌼

Step 1: Make the first half of the daisy
- Cut about 6 inches of copper wire, or grab a leftover piece.
- Add three white beads and one yellow bead onto the wire, in that order.
- Take the end of the wire and thread it back through the very first white bead you added. Go through in the same direction as the other wire.
- Pull it through and tighten, then adjust the beads a little so everything sits nicely.
Step 2: Add the remaining petals
- On that same wire, add three more white beads.
- Thread the wire end back through the bead on the opposite side, creating a loop.
- Pull it tight. Just like that, you’ve formed your tiny daisy!
- Twist the wire ends together to secure the flower.
You now have six white petal beads around one yellow center. If the center looks a little off, gently adjust the beads before you add the stem.
Step 3: Make the stem
- Add about 22 green seed beads onto the wire. You can use more or fewer for a longer or shorter stem.
- Use your loop pliers to make a small loop at the end.
- Wrap the remaining wire around to create a stopper. The loop and wrap keep your stem beads from sliding off.
- Trim any extra wire.
Your tiny beaded daisy is finished!
Tips for Neat Beaded Daisies ✨
- Thread in the same direction as the other wire when you go back through the first bead. If your yellow center won’t stay in the middle, this is usually why.
- Pull snug, then adjust. A tiny nudge with your fingers helps the yellow center sit right in the middle.
- Save your scraps. About 6 inches of wire is plenty, so daisies are a great way to use leftovers from bigger flowers.
- Try new colors. Pink petals with a white center or lilac petals with a yellow center are both so pretty.
- Craft with care. Small seed beads and cut wire ends aren’t safe for little ones. Older kids usually love making daisies with a grown-up helping with the pliers.

Ways to Use Your Beaded Daisy 💐
These little daisies make sweet bouquet fillers between bigger flowers like a beaded tulip or five petal flower. I show how to wrap a whole bouquet together in the Part 1 video at 17:57.
You can also put a pair of daisies on a keyring, wire one onto a bobby pin or ribbon bookmark, or add one to a card or small gift bag. Just make sure the wire ends are tucked in and secure.

What Color Daisy Will You Make? 🌼
Tiny daisies are proof that small things can be the sweetest. Try a classic white and yellow daisy first, then make a whole little field of them in every color you love.
